Closed tears along both spine seam bottom (tail). Front Board. Padded Leather, cross stich design with Gold Lettering impressed: Holy Bible (written in cursive).
Spine. HOLY BIBLE impressed in gold.
Detached flyleaf: Handwritten, black (now brown) cursive ink: "Chas. and Julia from Mother Dec. 25, 1889."
Faded gold top and fore edge. Damp stain on fore edge. (No metallic coloring noted on bottom edge.)
