The Captain's Book Shoppe LLC Privacy Policy is now published on our Wix Web site under the Customer Service Tab.

The bottom line of our policy is the following:

1. The Captain’s Book Shoppe LLC is a private and independent book marketer that maintains a strict confidentiality with our clients. Our client’s privacy is important to us. The Captain’s Book Shoppe does not disclose, release, advertise, sell or give away our supplier, client, or customer information without written consent. The Captain’s Book Shoppe complies with all applicable and legal court orders and warrants.

The Captain’s Book Shoppe may disclose or otherwise allow others access to your Personal Information pursuant to a legal request, such as a subpoena, legal proceedings, search warrant or court order, or in compliance with applicable laws, if we have good faith belief that the law requires us to do so, with or without notice to you.

a. Customers or clients that follow the Captain’s Book Shoppe LLC via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, and Linkedin may opt to publicly list themselves as a customer, client or follower on our social media organizational sites. The Captain’s Book Shoppe will not sell or give away our social media lists. Depending upon your personal social media settings, your social media information maybe public information.

b. Clients and customers that give testimonials or rate our service and business via social media acknowledge their identities as a customer are a matter of public record.

RETURN POLICY

If there is an issue with an order, please call Jeffrey at (USA) 319 351-3166 to discuss. The other method of contact is by sending an email to jeffrey@captainsbookshoppe.com.

1. All in store book sales are "as is" upon completion of the sale. No refunds for books that are bought in store. (We may rebuy your book, once you are done using it!)

2. Internet Sales.

 

Captain's Book Shoppe LLC standard 40 day CaptainsBook.com return policy is:

Domestic (USA) clients have a maximum of 40 days from the time the item was shipped to contact Captain's Book Shoppe if there is a discrepancy with the order.

Standard Internet Sales & Return Policy:
The Captain accepts "no questions asked" internet returns, when initiated within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. The customer is responsible for return postage.

The refund will be issued upon safe receipt of the item.

 

Captain's Book Shoppe covers return shipping costs if in the rare instance, there was an error in the listing or if the item was lost or damaged during shipment.
