Beautiful black leaf artwork impressed on spine. Impressed flower design with gold highlights on front board. Embossed diamond design on back board (no coloring). Cocked spine, firm binding.  Slight rubbing along spine seam.  Shelf wear along foot (tail) of boards.  Bumped corner.  Raw, rubbed top of the spine.  Gold impressed lettering on brown spine.  Gold colored all edge gilt.
 
Cream colored "Celia A. M. Currier" book plate on green colored front pastedown.  Seperation of green paper at front inner hinge.   Spotty foxing on second blank fly leaf, with minor foxing on verso side which is a black and white frontise piece portrait illustration of Robert Burns.  Spotty foxing on Main Title Page.  Grey vertical (pencil?) line under publisher.  No other marks noted inside of book.  Bottom corner dog ears on pages 1-8.) One inch x .25" chipped back flyleaf edge page along with a bumped bottom corner.
